Bald Eagles

One of the benefits of moving to Washington is I have good access to the Bald Eagle; in fact a fairly well known seasonal eagle hangout location is about five minutes from the house. This has given me the opportunity to spend time watching, enjoying and studying these majestic birds.

I’ve been lucky to be able to monitor some bald eagle nests since 2008, and it’s been fascinating to watch these birds bring the next generation of their species to life and raise them until they’re ready to leave the nest on their own
