Birds

Birds have long been a fascination to me. I have shared my house with an Umbrella Cockatoo for over 25 years, and bird photography has been my primary interest since I first picked up a digital camera and fell in love with the craft again.

I like to photograph not just the birds, but the environments they live in and how they interact with those environments.

My images have been used over the years by a number of organizations, including Santa Clara Valley Audubon, San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory and the Nature Conservancy. They are available for license and I license them for free to environmental organizations that I support. Please contact me if you want more information.
